As a player who can see things unbiased by faction pride, I say "incoming a lot of facts you'll need to ignore because you're forgetting about six years of furbolg suits".

Furbolg thing for years without equal. Wizard hat for months until "fix".

Never used the BEER Goggles because the helm provides a lot of stats.

I really enjoyed that hat. It made SFK so much nicer (I'm a big fat torren) but I used it everywhere for the "fun"

It was perhaps my most favorite item in the game.

Not surprised in the slightest. Goes along with their stance of not wanting items to be able to conceal your character's gear level just like when they removed overcloaks. Stupid change is stupid and I don't even play Horde.

I really hope Blizz changes the Faded Wizard Hat back to the way it was (equip it, get the buff, take it off, put your 'regular' helm back on, while still keeping the illusion). May seem silly, but it really was my favorite frivolous item in the game.

A lot of people are genuinely unhappy about this. What's the point of even having the wizard hat buff if it disappears after you re-equip your 'regular' helm? I'm not one to login just to sit around / afk in the cities, which is really the main thing I can think of, of why one would want to leave the wizard hat equipped, just to benefit from the 30 minute duration.
