Make reservations early.
Do something original.
Make a present, or get something special to her. Chocolates and Flowers should not be your only present.
Don't belittle the Holiday even if your lady says it's stupid (girls don't like to be left out of anything, even stuff they disapprove of)
The only thing better than a fancy restaurant is a fancy home-made dinner

I gotta admit, I laughed at the OP, it was funny. I don't get into the whole Valentines day thing either and I agree with the people who say that you shouldn't have to spend a ton of money on someone to prove you care, but could you pass along the brownies for breakfast idea to my husband plz
