Venture out into the world, eye twitching visibly. Growling as I begin to deal with the with drawl of dailies. Carefully laid plans of transmutes and farming ruined.
Day 3) Dusting off the old consoles. To ease the pain of addiction I break out the old game systems, SNES, and Dreamcast. Revel in the nostalgia. The simplicity of some of the older games, remember the awe caused by others from the things that were made capable by the old systems.
Day 4) Begin to apply the WoW terms to everyday life, manage to face pull angry children in the mall. Have to resist the urge to aoe crush them all by plowing through them. Madness begins to set in, hear the whispers of the Old Gods. Try to keep a grip on things.
Day 5) Barricaded myself in my room... the whispering won't stop. My kittens are agents of the Old Gods, I should have seen it coming. I have CC'ed them with an ample supply of food and catnip. The whispers lessen, turn up the volume on the tv to drown them out. Check MMO for others that suffer the same problem, find none... Darkside oddly absent on the subject.
Day 6) They tried to come for me in the night. My barricade nearly fell, need a healer to fix it but none are logged on. Had to make due with bandages made out of my clothes. Supplies are getting low, damn mage food despawned while I slept. Still have soda though, it may be a low level dot but it is all I have.
Day 7) the light has abandoned me, here i make my last stand, they are coming and i am tired, i will not survive more than likely, let my comrades sing songs of my battle, let me be remembered in song for on this day i shall stand atop a mountain of corpses as i draw my last breath, they send the kittens first, i see their tiny paws poking out from under my door, cc wore off, i must go now, do not let the whispers lure you in
