    [A] <Cønviction> 1/13 Heroic Recruiting ALL for 25 Man Progression 3 Nights / Week

Cønviction - 25m Heroic Raiding Guild

Current needs: We'll gladly consider exceptional player that have WoL reports and experience.

High: Demo Warlock, Holy Priest, and a tank (druid/dk)

    Medium: Fury Warrior, Rogue

    Background:

Cønviction is a 25 man raiding guild on US - Spinebreaker Alliance currently working on the Heroic tier of content for Cataclysm. Our rise to success on Spinebreaker has been relatively recent, starting in Heroic ICC and downing 11/12 bosses, earning our Glory of the Icecrown Raider achievement, with additional experience in the Heroic LK and Heroic Halion encounters (downed in 10m). Currently, we are 1/13 in Cataclysm raids and working on the initial Hard Mode bosses. We are focused on maintaining a 25m raid environment and welcome all exceptional players to come and enjoy Hard Mode progression.

    Raid Times:

Cønviction raids from 6PM-9PM PST three nights a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Invites go out at 5:45, and we begin our first pulls at 6:00PM sharp. While on progression fights, it may be asked of you to stay late and progress the raid when we feel it is necessary to move the guild forward. We usually continue any leftover progress in experimental 10m or alt runs on the weekends.

Spinebreaker is in the Pacific Time Zone, and we maintain a raiding schedule that revolves around PST.

    Attendence and Loot Distribution:

It is expected of raiders to maintain a 5/6 raid attendence over a two week period. Any less than this, and you will most likely fail trial or be benched (there's always room for emergencies, of course). During your trial period, 100% attendence is required, as we cannot evaluate players who are not in the raid and who do not show the dedication needed for Hard Mode progression. If you are going to have an expected or extended absence, it is mandatory to post on the forums 24 hours prior to your absence.

With regards to loot, we run an EP/GP system, as we believe it evenly and fairly distributes loot to those who deserve and earn it. Effort Points (EP) are awarded for downing bosses, progression fighting, and exemplary performance in a raid situation. GP is awarded based on the amount of gear you receive from raids, weighted by the importance of the item (weapons earn more GP than rings/necks). Each players EP divided by GP determines their priority for the next piece of loot over other raiders.

Loot is distributed in the following order:

Raiders > Bench/Reserve > Trials > Offspecs (one may take offspec loot only by donating a Maelstrom Crystal to the Guild Bank or if their offspec is imperative to our raid)

    Trialing:

All trials must apply to the guild through our website at http://www.convictionguild.com and read, comply, and report on the application. We will review your application and the officers will decide whether you have what it takes to raid with a Hard Mode guild and give any feedback we can on how you can improve any aspect of your character. However, it is expected that you know the ins and outs of your class and are gemmed, geared, glyphed, and reforged properly and accordingly. At this point in the expansion, any character applying with less than full herioc dungeon gear with BoE/reputation/crafted epics will not even be considered. We will not consider applications unless they can meet all the requirements found in the application! Do not leave blank spaces or vague/useless answers, as you will be denied!

Once the trial period begins, you will be periodically pulled into our raids to test your skills against that of our current raiders. This trial period can last several days or several weeks, depending on the level of skill and dedication we see coming from you as a raider. Every week, our officers meet and decide who deserves to be a raider and who deserves to be a trial/bench; this ongoing evaluation means everybody is vulnerable to the bench (I recommend farming bench resistance gear). Once your trial period is over and you have (hopefully) passed, you will be promoted to Raider and consistently taken to raids and progression.

We also have an Elite Raider rank, which is awarded to individuals who go above and beyond the call of duty in raids and demonstrate exemplary performance. This rank is awarded not only with prestiege and priority invites to raid, but guild repairs and often free enchants or other items.

    How to apply:

Visit our website and look for the applications link. Click on the "More Info" button and begin to hammer out that application. The application does include elements such as previous parses for DPS/Healers and a current screenshot of your User Interface in a raid environment. These elements are required and heavily influence your application. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the guild or the application/trial process, feel free to contact any of our officers in-game:
