Who we are:
Ascendence is a hardcore progression guild originally established November 2008 on the Uldaman realm. Our Turalyon presence was founded by 24 transferring members, many of whom have been raiding together since Vanilla/BC.
Our focus is on PvE success, progression not only in content, but in the individual play skill and the effectiveness of the team. We expect our raiders to improve themselves constantly regardless of the content on which they are working. Our expectations are high – we expect every member to show up fully prepared and giving 100% every raid night as we push towards that next first kill.
Ascendence is strong outside of the raiding environment. Our players don’t merely log on to farm or raid and then log off – we play together as a family. While our hardcore nature applies to our raid style we can honestly say that we like each other and that shows in how we interact with each other every day.
Our raid schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 8:30pm to 12:00am EST.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for exceptional players that are excited about clearing content and progressing. You will need to have full knowledge of your class, and be able to learn quickly as we move through content.
Reliability, skill, experience and dedication are our cornerstones for our raiders. Everyone works as a team and is committed to that team effort. A sense of humor is necessary, as well as the ability to take constructive criticism. We are a bit rough with our humor at times, and some of us are very blunt.
What to expect:
Applicants will be expected to start raiding immediately. We require all raiders to have Deadly Boss Mods or an equivalent, Omen, and ORA3, as well as any class specific mods that are needed for raiding. You should be knowledgeable of the content we are running, with proper preparation done for any possible new content. We expect a minimum of 75% attendance to qualify for raider status. A great attitude is imperative as all members are expected to follow instructions and bring their best to the raid.
We do require Ventrilo and a working microphone as listening and speaking (at proper times) are both required for a successful raid.

All applications will be reviewed by the appropriate class raiders and officers. We recommend that you do check back often in order to answer any questions regarding your spec/gemming/gear that may arise. If your application is accepted, you will be scheduled for an interview in Vent. From that point, as long as it goes well, you will be accepted on a two week trial basis. You will be expected to show up for all raid nights during that time frame so that your performance can be assessed. At the end of that time, as long as all qualifications have been met, you will be promoted to full raider status.
