    WoW internet useage

So i recieved an email off BT today saying i'd used 32Gb of my 40Gb usage... but i dont really know how.
I downloaded the RIFT Beta at 7Gb and just general use of the internet, the usual Facebook, Porn and Forum sites.
Also the use RIFT and WoW in game...

I just dont know how i used up this much... so to get to my question eventualy:
How much useage does WoW and other such games use? And how much would i of played to get it that high?

EDIT: Also the use of Iplayer quite heavily.

I don't know for sure but I remember reading a bluepost awhile back saying at the most WoW will only use a few hundred Mb a month.

The useage is really low i guess the patch counts towards it aswell and streaming porn can take some mb's but dunno how you reached 32 GB The problem isn't with wow though thats for sure

Here are your problems. Online games don't take much bandwidth. Video streaming does. And the 7+ GB Rift download is adding to that as well. Facebook fotos can be rather heavy as well.

40gb seems pretty low even if you don't use it for Illegal purposes
I use at least that much between revision3 and netflix streaming between 1-2 weeks
you mention your dad being pissed did he use any of that bandwith
should just convice him to upgrade to unlim plan its only £28 and you're still getting over twice the speed i get for the same amount of cash
either that or find a provider that tiers there pricing based on speed instead of monthly cap

I don't know about RIFT, but WoW won't even use 1gb per month, I'm assuming RIFT is the same but I had to download a 4.5GB patch after downloading the 7GB game.

Oh and I don't know what Iplayer is but if you are streaming music a typical 128kbs stream will take up around 30-40MB per hour. It's not much, but if you stream 10 hours every day, it will easily add up a few GB.

Ah i forgot about the patch... that would be why it is so high... not getting into headstart will be a kicker

Your average show on Iplayer is like 400 - 700 megs . 1 - 9 minute 1080 video on youtube is around 200-300 MB .So there you go, mystery solved.
