Is it possible to remove the Peaceful on Minecraft?

100% serious question. My only problem with Minecraft is Peaceful mode. It is my Oh Shit Button when I hear the "SSSSSSsssss" sound, and out of reflex I do it now. It might be fun to play Peaceful for some people, but I would love it gone.

you can.
shut the server down, open "server" properties with editor, change "spawn monsters=false" into "spawn monsters=true", save, close, start the server.
here you go you have monsters and not a new world
