I need some help guys >.<

So I've been playing WoW for a few years now on a pretty mediocre set-up. I experienced really choppy gameplay with horrible framerate quality.

I was just wondering if you guys could suggest a set-up thats relatively cheap, but would only be for games like WoW and potentially Rift.

How much money you have to spend, and what parts you have now that can be re-used?

Also WoW is not "only" when it comes to hardware requirements, pretty damn far from it if you want to raid 25-mans.

As vesseblah said, what's your budget? And what setup do you have now? (CPU, RAM, video card)
    Super casual.

I was kinda hoping to start from scratch so I'd be replacing everything lol

And budget wise, I don't have one. I just wanna see what I would have to spend to have a set up that allows me to play WoW or Rift (end-game of course) without any framerate issues.

Around $1000, including keyboard/mouse/monitor/windows. For example:

This is fairly good setup that lasts in gaming use for next two years without any major upgrades. Can go up or down in the PC price, but going lower will cause some nasty tradeoffs and bottlenecks. Just ordering the parts and building it yourself will save you around $100 from the computer price.

So a set up like that will easily play rift on the highest setting with no FPS issues?

It will do decently well, I've no idea how demanding Rift is. 'It will play Rift with very few problems' is a better statement

Well the reason I asked is because I'm used to extremely choppy gameplay were I have 20 fps or less, and I just want a setup that will ensure I have more than that.

    Buying my First Gaming computer!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16883229221I think for the most part, I will just be playing rift, and I wanted your guys opinion on whether you think this setup will run the game smoothly on higher settings.

    yes, ultra, shadows, etc.

in rift i get a little lower fps. i get like 30 while lvling, still on higest possible settings. put them on like high with that pc and you should never get any fps problems.
