    Copying the WoW folder...

I just put together a new machine, i7 950 with a 560 Ti gpu with 6gb of 1600 ram. Everything running at stock currently.
I copied the wow folder from my m11x c2d with a 350m gpu.

I went to play on new desktop and it was super choppy at the same settings. I renamed the launcher and config .wtf's and redid everything and still had issues with bad frame rates. (Doing lateral 360's were the worst.)
I restored the old config and launcher .wtf's. I then made a shortcut to the wow.exe and renamed the target to include -"d3d11" and now it runs perfect.
Graphic drivers are up to date from nvidia website.

However i cannot bump up the settings to high or ultra on some items, and the graphics slider bar is red beyond 'fair' just like it was on my m11x.
I manage about 60 addons across 4 character and would prefer not to redo all their ui's and would prefer not to delete the entire WTF, Cache, and addon folder if possible.

I dabble in IT and am currently researching the issue, thought I would post here in the mean time.

    Thanks for the help.

Can see that you renamed the launcher and config files, but could you remove the Cache file and rename the WTF/Interface folder temporarily? Just to try it out?

About the settings, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ8Hgl15zIA (It's a bit comical, but he actually explains how to fix it as well)

Your Addons are out of Date.. Out of Date Addons make your FPS Drop so much, I stopped playing WoW for around 1 month, Started playing again.. and the FPS was like.. 5, Deleted all of the Addons, and Walla.. Back to 40 FPS. :3!

I have tried playing w/o addons. Still had the fps drop during 360s. It made no impact on performance.

Cannot view that youtube video because I am at work. I can see that you have said you have "disabled" your addons, but have you completely renamed/removed your "WTF" folder? So that WoW can make a new one. Bad account data in there can cause the issues you are describing, regardless of whether you have disabled your mods or not.
