BiS Unholy trinkets

What are the current BiS UH trinkets right now? And how does the Darkmoon Card: Hurricane fit in there? currently thinking about making myself one.

BiS for normal mode is License to Slay (Valor Points) and Heart of Rage (off Chimaeron). DMC isn't very good for DKs unless you are DW Frost. If you can't get Heart of Rage, Crushing Weight off Ascendant Council is good too.

DMC: Hurricane, is decent if you have spare money, or are a Scribe, the passive Strength is fairly nice, as is the Proc Rate if you have enough haste.

However, there are multiple trinkets which are MUCH better

License to Slay (BiS)
Heart of Rage (BiS)

Also, just a little bit behind Heart of Rage are;

They don't, but it's better than crit, which puts it ahead of angerforge, and the extra average strength puts it ahead of CW.

This is what EJ suggest. According to EJ DMC is BiS for DW Frost, but not for 2H Frost or 2H Unholy. However, every single test I've done so far comparing DMC proc using 2H Frost and DW Frost showed that the proc resulted in the same or more DPS for 2H Frost case.

I am not saying it's better overall than Heart of Rage, but it's very close. On fights where you can maintain ~100% dps uptime I believe DMC is better.

The number of procs on average that I've managed to get with 2Handed, is 1.6 PPM, with an average of like 5,300 Damage (92% of the procs), and a crit average of about 7,300

5,300 x 1.6 / 60 = 141.33 DPS increase (for non-crit procs)
321 strength x 2.96 = 950.16 DPS increase

Total for DMC (varied based on procs) = 1,091 DPS Gain

Compare that to

128 expertise x .72 = 92.16 DPS increase
128 haste x .86 = 110.08 DPS incease
1,926 strength proc x (1/5) = 385.2 'passive' strength = 385.2 x 2.96 = 1,140.192 DPS increase

Total for Heart of Rage = 1,342 DPS Gain

Wierd, my highest PPM I've managed was like 3.3PPM as 2-handed.

So I guess on Argaloth and Chimaeron the DMC is pretty much the same.

Your current BiS trinkets for Unholy are Heroic Crushing Weight and Heroic Heart of Rage. As always since the launch of the game you will see different results with different trinkets based on YOUR gear. DMC:Hurricane may be best for YOU because YOUR gear is no where near BiS.

For someone who isn't into H bosses yet, your BiS trinkets are License to Slay (Valor Points) and Heart of Rage (Chim). If you can't get Heart of Rage to drop I suggest crushing weight or DMC: Hurricane. But it all depends on the rng of drops, I had DMC: H equipped for about a week before I replaced it with Heart of Rage.
