The Wicked Temptress (Boss fight idea)

Concept: The Wicked Temptress holds the keys to the doorway leading to her master's lair. She is the holder of his treasury of powerful artifacts and his fortune of wealth. Players must battle her, and each other, to gain access to the master's lair, and a share of the horde she protects.

The Setting: Medium sized, circular room filled with treasure and a large, flaming furnace at the center.

The Fight:Players engage The Wicked Temptress, whom doesn't hit very hard and has fairly weak AoE attacks, but whom immediately starts tempting those engaging her.

Temptation: Opens a loot window to a random player, presenting them with a variety of items or gold for the taking, each having differing results upon acceptance or refusal
    Flask:
Take: Adds flask to player stockpile, to be kept upon completion of the fight. Gives The Wicked Temptress a stacking buff that increases her attack speed
Refuse: Adds a stack of Disappointment to the Wicked Temptress and reduces player's stats by 5%, which stacks indefinitely

    Crafting Goods:
Take: Adds crafting good to player stockpile, to be kept upon completion of the fight. Gives The Wicked Temptress a stacking buff that increases her attack damage
Refuse: Adds a stack of Disappointment to the Wicked Temptress and reduces player's total health by 5%, which stacks indefinitely

    Gold:
Take: Adds gold to player stockpile, to be kept upon completion of the fight. Gives The Wicked Temptress a stacking buff that increases her area of effect damage
Refuse: Adds a stack of Disappointment to the Wicked Temptress and reduces player's healing received by 5%, which stacks indefinitely

    Item:
Take: Immediately ends combat with The Wicked Temptress. Player receives item, and all items within their stockpile. All other players receive nothing and are unable to proceed to the Master's lair.
Refuse: Adds a stack of Disappointment to the Wicked Temptress and the item is tossed into the furnace and destroyed, removing it from the possible loot table upon completion of the fight.

Disappointment: Stacking debuff that, upon the Wicked Temptress deciding the fight is no fun anymore, causes her to cast all raid members from her room, taking back their stockpiles and reseting the encounter.

Premise: Players must avoid taking too much, but not refuse too much, either, as taking too much causes The Wicked Temptress to gain in power and player to lose power to make the fight impossible, and taking too little causes her to reset the encounter. Taking an item ends the fight and prevents progression to the next boss, making it important to trust everyone in your group.

What's to stop the raid from allowing everyone in the raid a chance at this option and just getting a lot of gear and keep resetting the fight?

As soon as someone takes an item, the boss despawns and you're saved to the encounter with the door to the next boss closed. So, basically, if someone takes an item, the only loot gained from the fight for that week is the singular item that person got and the other gold and flasks they took.

If you kill the boss properly, everyone gets the stuff they took (gold, mats, flasks), and 2-5 items from her loot table that weren't presented as temptations.

Basic idea is to turn player greediness against them.

Sounds cool, but you do realize people are gonna run in 3man and keep resetting till it gets item
