2 resto druids and a disc priest in 10-man?

    Hi there MMO community,

My guild has just cleared 12/12 on Normal, and 2/12 on Heroic after only 2 weeks of raiding with the following healing setup (all on 10-man):

    Holy Pala
    Disc Priest
    Resto Druid

Now, the Holy Paladin just quit WoW, and we have the option to recruit an IRL friend of the guild, who's a Restoration Druid, which would bring our healing setup to:

    Resto Druid
    Resto Druid
    Disc Priest

My question is, would this work in a 10-man guild that aims to be clearing all hardmodes at some point?

It would bring our total RAIDCOMPOSITION to this: http://raidcomp.mmo-champion.com/?c=...00000000000000

    Best regards
    Zumzar

All healers are pretty much on par right now, so it really just matters on the players. You would feel gimped not having Aura Mastery or Mana Tide, though.

Wouldn't the 2x Innervates make up for the lack of MTT? Also, we've done fine so far w/o the MTT, but good point about Aura Mastery.

Resto Druids put out better single target healing than a paladin, you just happen to lose beacon off of the 2nd tank (which can affect some fights). The double innervates more than make up not having a resto shaman, as the druids can give one another their innervates (with the glyph) and completely stop worrying about mana. Losing a paladin hurts with a loss of aura mastery, but no fight is created around aura mastery; along with most fights really not needing it at all.

Have your disc priest go holy on most fights (every fight where future damage can't be predicted on the raid or where the disc bubble doesn't play a huge factor).

Yes it would, maybe not on a raid wide scale (helping caster mana, which should never be a problem unless they are bad) but for a healing scenario it is much better than mana tide. Being able to give one another innervates is beyond strong.

Druids can trade glyphed innervates with good communication for a total of 30% max mana. That, paired with hymn will make it possible.

Is it going to be as easy as it would with a resto shaman? No. Is it doable? Yes. Truth be told, shamans also kinda suffer getting gimped by spreading out which happens a ton in 10 mans. I think you and your guild will be okay with 2 druids.
