Death caused by man since it would probably be quicker and my death could maybe be used as an argument for stopping some of the terrible thing we humans are doing.

I have never understood the painful thing to be honest. Unless we are talking slow, long, and tortuous.

But otherwise I don't see what it matters. It would happen so fast you wouldn't really have time to focus on the pain.

You'd be dead either way. Seems silly to me to care how it happens as long as it isn't like I said slow and drawn out.

Whatever I die from, I want it to be on my feet with my heart pumping in the prime of my life. I'm not particular about the source.

One of the most disturbing things I can imagine is to waste away as a feeble invalid surrounded by loved ones in a cozy bed. Anything but that.

Well, let's say it was man modified virus that spread on it's own through it's normal natural means of travel? e.g. bloodborne.

Man made it, but it traveled and infected by natural means. Would it then be both?

To be on topic; I'd prefer something to the extent of something like, but not limited to, a zombie apocalypse. Where at least I get to fight to my death like an honorable warrior.
