Early Game Access *starts* on December 13th. Emails will be sent on the day you get access.

hm looks like they moved the download button from the /tester porition of the website to being under the pre-order link, didnt know that, was trying to put a fresh copy into my computer but the last one i had downloaded was from /tester and it wasnt working this new one is tho

The download button is also right on the front page of swtor.com, where the 'test the old republic' ad used to be.

Oh well. I'll just wait until I get my game from amazon. I'm supposed to get release-date delivery from them, and they've always been on time with it. If not, a couple days not playing swtor won't be the end of the world.

I'm getting release date delivery as well through Student Prime...but I'm not entirely trusting of our UPS. They can show up as late as 7pm or so or later, or not at all.

I ordered the boxed version and my retailer sent it yesterday, so I think it depends on your retailers if you'll get it in time or not.

But they are starting shipping already though, so most people should get their box inside of the Early Access period.
It does kinda suck for those who have to pick up the game at the store though - unless the stores are kind enough to start selling them before the 20th, which I guess they might be.

Oh, and the FAQ also says that to get the special items for your version, you'll have to register the product code from the box - so don't get access to those just from Pre-Order code. Don't know if that's been stated all the time.

You don't want to know the amount of red zone pre-orders that were based on Stephen Reid's insistance that there would be a grace period. International shipping over xmas? Not the most reliable time to await a package on time.

I'm not directly affected as I have 3 DDE pre-orders I can use while waiting for my 3 CE boxes to arrive via mail. Problem atm is the huge amount of red zoner's going bat-guano on the forums (quite understandably imo).

Rule of thumb: If SR says the sun is shining...bring an umbrella just in case

I was given to understand that I would get a month free upon purchasing the game. Am I still required to set up a sub (with a credit card) our purchase a pre paid card?
