Is ToC 5 man heroic soloable?

I have a 356ish ret pally that I would like to try to solo ToC 5 man on. I'm doing it because I'm trying to max my Champion's Seal count for the weeks since I'm trying to get all the rewards/mounts/heirlooms. To do this I'll need to get the three from the bosses in this instance. The only thing that has stopped me from trying is the jousting part. When there is 3 elites focusing me and all doing 20k charges on my like 100k hp, I'm sure my horsey will go down in no time. Has anyone tried this yet or should I just get a friend to help me out with it?

I don't see why not, actually. Even if not, you should have like 130K HP of your own. You might just do more damage un-mounted. lol

When you dismount your horse for a new one, they despawn. So unless you can beat the first part with one horse, I doubt it.

Tried this, it's terribly hard to get past the horses part... tried kiting as much as possible and the 3 waves of 3 small horses are cake, the bosses however is WAY to hard since they completely wipe your shields and remove shield faster than you can apply them. Im pretty sure a dk tank could pull it off without using a horse. taking a shitload of time though but pretty sure it's doable that way.

They despawn? I assume this only happens when you are trying to solo it?

And you said you were trying to solo it.

Hehe yea. Thanks for the input. Saves me the trouble of going in there alone and getting wrecked only to be frustrated by the despawn. I guess I'll have to bring my friend along to keep them from despawning.

But you can directly jump from one horse onto another. Do they still despawn then?

It was soloed when it was content, so yeah.

Edit: That was normal mode. Sorry.

Yeah I guess I should have asked how easy it was to solo it. I'd rather not go in and take hours soloing the place for 3 Champion's Seals. If it's easy enough I'll go in there and faceroll it. If not then it's not worth the time spent.

The only part i see being unsoloable is the Jousting. After that, it's all tank-n-spank.

I tried it recently and within like 10 seconds I was running for the door. The joust is tricky if not impossible solo.

You don't have to dismount to get a new horse/wolf. You just have to go over to it and click the green arrow. Problem is you might be bound by how many horses or wolves are available in the arena. The joust event is probably solo-able if you know how do it properly. They rest of the heroic is probably solo-able by any class now. . .

I tried soloing it yestrday. I can easily kill the first 3 ads on the horse. During the next 3 or 6 or what ever I just jumped off my mount and they didnt respawn. I handled them easily. But the next batch was putting a constant stun on me. Like i wasn't even able to move. I was just there lying on the floor taking hits. Is there any way to avoid it.

If you're not on a horse, you will get trampled by the other npcs on their mounts until you die. It has no DR.

not possible to solo, since if you're dismounted the 3 bosses keep you permastunned, on mount not possible as they remove shields (nearly instantly) and 2 shoot your horse, eventually you'll run out for horses.

    tl;dr not soloable

I haven't found a way to solo kill that last pack of 3 elite mobs in the jousting event.

^^^ Completely untrue. I have soloed this instance with ease on my paladin.

The enemies do NOT despawn when you get dismounted*. You get stunned a lot when dismounted, but its still possible to reach another mount. You can also jump on a new mount while you are still on one, but a mount dies pretty quickly. Also, the spare mounts around the room respawn after a few seconds. It takes a long time, but the jousting event is beatable. The bosses after that are easily soloable.

*At least not regularly, I have had them despawn once.
    Stulti se laudant.
