Creek.
Crick.
It's all about who you're around.
If I'm hanging with my fellow New Yorkers from Upstate, it's creek.
If I'm hanging around my southern buddies, it's crick.

Crick : Crick is actually the way people from Oregon and Washington say "creek", you know like a small flow of water. You'll hear it a lot in the rural parts of the two states.
"Let's go down to the crick and shoot some squirrels."
I personally pronounce it creek.
Actually, Mr. Lennon, I CAN imagine a world with no hatred, religion, war, or violence.
I can also imagine attacking such a world, because they would never see it coming.

For once, Carville was a man ahead of his time.
My aunt, who's from PA, says crick. And so does most of her family, all PA natives. But we say 'creek' in Texas... we think she's weird. Even my fiance, he's from CT, says creek... and so does most of his family. I lived in VA for a while, and people from there say creek, too..
My mom, on the otherhand, says creek. But her family from the deeper parts of the state (Washington) say crick. Kinda odd.
It's really just a regional thing. Or a PA/Washington thing!
Lots of generalizations about people from the south saying 'crick'. Kinda wrong. I've lived, or been, most anywhere in Texas. From El Paso to Lubbuck, too Dallas down to San Antonio/Houston/Laredo. Hell, I was born in Corpus Christi. And now I live in central TX. Lots of rednecks, and STILL. NO ONE says crick.

I'm from North Dakota, and most people up here I hear them say Crick, including me.
There's also Roof (we say ruf) and Bag (pronounced Bahg instead of like beg or something like that, you get the point haha)
Alot of people say I have a thick accent of "redneckness" but I really don't think so. Then again, does anyone really feel like they themselves has an accent? haha
