shadow/healing

is a shadow priest a competant healer or should they stick to dps'ing? am new to a preist class so want to know if i should list myself as dps/healer in dungeons or just dps only,
also looking for the most beneficial profession to myself....worgen priest.

a shadow priest is an outstanding dps but an incompetent healer. But you can get the dual spec and play the role you want at any time.

Professions... I'd say enchanting and tailoring. But blacksmithing, jewelcrafting, engineering and alchemy could work too.

Any profession besides Skinning, Herbalism and Mining is going to benefit you for raiding/PvP. Engineering is slightly better for Shadow.

Pick up dual spec if you haven't already. It's only like 20-30 gold now, and available at level 30.
