    Power supply!

Since I don't know a whole lot about them...

I'm looking for a semi-decent, cheap PSU, not necessarily ultra high quality for a gaming system or for overclocking. I have my old Asus P5Q Pro, a Pentium E5200, 2GB DDR2 and a Radeon HD 4850 sitting around, and I figured I could put them in my mother's computer to bump her up from her current Pentium 4 Northwood 2.66ghz. I just need a PSU for it! Chances are she won't be doing any gaming on it, but you never know.

I saw an OCZ modstream on sale this week...

Only problem is that it's a $20 MIR, and I remember reading somewhere that OCZ units were not very good. I do know that the Thermaltake TR2 models I should avoid like the plague.

Edit: Even a case with a semi-decent PSU would be fine, her case is an old AOpen stock case and doesn't have very impressive cooling.

edit2: NCIX or Newegg.ca only for store links prease!

Actually, ever since they Acquired PC Power and Cooling, i've heard their PSUs have gotten leaps and bounds better.

The one in the OP, surprisingly, is good. Very good, apparantly.

Better so than the one linked just above. I'd get the OCZ-one

EDIT: Note that I didn't take pricing in regard at all. MIR is a term I haven't come across outside NewEgg before (or because I haven't looked at shopping in the Americas before)
