After concluding that the person who programmed Rainmeter was an idiot. (I've had my share of problems with Rainmeter. Alt tab hiding ALL of my skins, most notably. Anyway.) I'm looking for an alternative to make my desktop look nicer, while still remaining functional. Anyone who suggests Samurize will be shot on site. I refuse to use XP just to have a desktop skin. -.-

To my knowledge beside samurize and rainmeter there are no more options, minus coding your own apps. For your rainmeter problem just click on "keep on screen".
