Kinda lame that the Marlies are in the western conference despite the fact that they are based out of Toronto, this isn't the Leafs of the 70's for fuck sake! Most of their broadcast schedule because of it caters towards west coast viewers due to 8 PM EST start times.

They were in West/Campbell in 93/94 at least, when I began following hockey (I was but 6~7)

It is absurd this guy has 3 lockouts in his career and still has a job. No wonder he gets booed every time he presents the Cup.

I just read a story about scab players in the NHL. Kill me now. Although to be honest I'd watch that. I'd love to watch the AHL, ECHL, Euro league guys play at the NHL level. It would be just nutty.

rofl 100 million lost from 8 games for each team not having their preseason games? People generally don't go to those games, or tickets are dirt cheap anyway. Maybe the owners will start to clue into the fact that they need to concede the 50/50 split in HRR and stop trying to screw over the players financially.
