Tampa vs Washington is on, 1-1 with 8 mins left in the first.

And Vancouver was pushing Nashville around for the first 45 minutes of the game last night, it wasn't until really late that Nashville really put up a fight and got a couple of decent scoring chances. Sometimes your wins are going to be gritty wins where you don't score a lot of goals. They fired a lot of pucks on the net and Rinne was stellar, it could have been about 6-0 for Vancouver easily if it wasn't for him.

Caps got off to a slow start, which I guess is expected after 5 days rest. After Tampa scored they started looking like themselves again, although I think this second goal is gonna be disallowed.

Define entire game? to me that means 60 minutes. Nashville surely was better in the third period

Nashville controlled the puck well and had some nice chances at the 7 minute mark in the 3rd, for about a minute and a half. Even with the goalie pulled at the end, they weren't generating much.

Sugar coat that loss all you want, we won 1-0 and be glad Rinne had a great game, because Nashville was out of it the whole 60 minutes.

Love to see a replay of the timing on that delay of game call. Play should have been blown dead immediately when Rollie lost his mask which certainly appeared to be before the puck was shot over the glass.
