Apparently the kid has problems living up to his commitments. Cancelled an interview on NHL Network this morning after they called to confirm it with him last night. That left an open spot because he " wanted to pursue other media opportunities ". Damn if that doesn't sound familiar.

Seems more like Toronto media wishful thinking to be honest. Just like the notion that Stamkos signs here, the odds of that happening are slim unless he wants to keep losing for a few more years.

I also remain wary of college hockey players, Bozak turned out OK but he hasn't done much without Kessel.

I think Suter and Smith are about the only two we've had that have really been worth a damn.

He is a vital player for Chicago, they won't do much.

He'll get a nice rest and be back just in time for the playoffs. He's done this before where he gets suspended at the end of the season to get some rest for the playoffs.

Wouldn't shock me, Trotz hasn't been exactly stellar over the years in the playoffs.

If they play Philly, then they have a legitimate chance of losing in the first round.

Matthews is def the best of the 3 but Laine has A+ flow and celly game down, clearly those intangibles will get him #2 overall.

On a side note, got a playoff game tonight in my mens league, wish me luck boys!

Well, if Tampa Bay thinks they are going to win a Cup, they are SOL. Stamkos done 1-3 months with a blood clot in his upper arm, he will be having surgery on Monday.

No Stralman either, I'd say they're pretty boned at this point. I'm pulling for Florida. Love the story, Jagr, Ekblad and Barkov are all awesome to watch.

Gaudreau hits 30 goals in his 2nd NHL season and Sean Monahan ties his previous point total tonight. This is gonna be expensive but fuck these 2 guys are so good.

Typical Wings. Barely squeak into the playoffs then get a bye round 1.

We really need Kopitar to stuff the stat sheet these last 5 games. He's currently 11th for forwards in scoring with Panarin 10th. If Panarin finishes in the top 10 he gets a $2.5MM raise next year and that's the last thing we need
