And that is why Thornton is the best setup guy in the NHL. Not always clutch or sportsmanlike, but he is a phenomenal talent.

Ya that would be phenomenal for you guys. The West spanning all four times zones is freaking terrible. Can't wait til Atlanta moves and the NHL puts Columbus or Detroit in the East and then they other one when the Isles relocate to KC at some point because we all know that new arena deal is bound to fall through because of some political crap just like last time and no way can they keep playing in Nassaeu.

Frankly I don't think Detroit fans should be that worried in this situation at all. We more than likely should have been done after game 4. I think most of us view this as the Wings giving us three more games than we expected from the way the series started. If they lose they gave us an extra week of loving them on the ice.
