It's been almost 9 years since Toronto has beaten Vancouver. Then again, this has been a weird season.

If you go into the other 80% of the city you will think you are in Eastern Europe or as far as East EU is portrayed in media.
Ah. I had imagined it was like any other city with its bad parts. You often hear about Vancouver being a great place but Hastings, starting from the exhibition grounds, is pretty terrible.

You know, the game that was sold out since August (possibly earlier), because everyone wants to watch the Leafs play.
4PM start is terrible for my schedule. I'll be going to one game this season though, March 26 V Kings.
I remember it all too well

Safe to say none of those teams is Calgary lol. That team and organization is a joke outside of Iginla, who should be pushing for a trade if he wasn't such a team player.

Okay people, what will happen first? A Red Wings Home loss, or a Chicago Blackhawks win?

There is a slight chance it could be a draw, when the Hawks are in Detroit on Mar 4 & Apr 7.

I'm still completely baffled by how the Hawks keep losing. I expected them to regress thanks to their defense at some point, by this is way worse than I figured. I still think they make the playoffs, but whereas a week or two ago I thought it was a joke to worry about that, it is now an actual concern.

Here I was thinking I couldn't enjoy Brad Marchand more than I already do, then ESPN releases this story: http://espn.go.com/boston/nhl/story/...wed-bruins-dvd

He was too drunk at their party to do their DVD interviews. Ownage. Congratulations Marchand on continuing to be one of the three and a half Bruins I don't want to hit in the face with a rock (Marchand, Chara, Thomas (ex-Viper, political nutjob), Lucic occasionally).

Holy fuck Ron Wilson needs to be fired, clearly he can't manage lineups properly. Carl Gunnarsson is out for a week with an ankle injury, so he puts Komisarek next to Phaneuf rather then putting Schenn or Keith Aulie who was already called up, in that position. Komisarek has been a defensive liability for us all season and his play last night showed just how shit he is and how he manages to screw up even the little things. Also, Boyce needs to go back to the minors, I don't know exactly what was going on in Wilson's head after the last game Armstrong played where they lost, but he was by far one of the most energetic and one of the best defensive forwards on the ice. Putting a soft bag of crap like Connolly on the wing next to Grabs and MacArthur when the man is a slow soft player with zero ability to score for his contract, is beyond me, at least Kulemin can skate fast enough and can work to make the goals happen on the 2nd line, even if he doesn't score them.

In that same diary entry, Marchand admitted that when he got a "Stanley Cup Champions" tattoo over the summer, the tattoo artist originally misspelled "Champions" (substituting an "a" for the "o")

And he has/had a shitty tattoo. +1 more point for Marchand.

Hopefully it got fixed. It cant be too hard to make an 'a' into an 'O', right?

Oh yeah, Habs Vs B's tonight. I hope Subban gets a kick to the balls tonight.

Subban needs to get a concussion, maybe it will humble him a bit and teach him not to be a complete douche.

Probably one of the biggest surprises in ages too. I really had no expectations for him coming to Toronto but I think he has overcome a lot of adversity to become such a great player. What's going to happen if he continues to be a 60 point player till the end of his contract. Kessel is going to need an extension after next season and no doubt he is going to get a pay raise, Grabs needs an extension this summer and too will see a bit of a pay raise. Gotta find some money, but getting rid of Connolly and Komisarek would free up about 7 million in cap space.

The Leafs need a huge win tonight, I am going to bed praying my boys get the two points tonight because it statistically eliminates Montreal from the playoffs as they are still currently 7 points out (9 if the Leafs win tonight). Only Winnipeg and Washington are really in it.

lol It was against us (Avs) in Vancouver, and it was YET ANOTHER game where you thugs injure our goalie. Ya did it 2-3 times last season too, twice on Anderson. Win your games properly, goons.

They may be goons on the ice, but if you bump into they flop around and look like they got shot in the teeth.

There are a lot of teams I hate. But usually 2-3 players I respect from those teams. (I like price and pachretti for example from montreal.)

But I can't think of one person I like on vancouver. They are all shit players in my eyes. I guess if I HAD to pick one it would be their back up goalie, Cory Schneider.

Another squeek by win by the Bruins last night. Gave up a 3-1 lead only to win in a SO

Speaking of goons, how about that Marchand hit that has people all up in a stir? Looked like he was going for a hip check to me, not a clip. Pointless hit for sure with the period about to end, but it certainly looked like hip to hip contact to me. Not sure what the idiots on NBCS broadcast were looking at there.

from my armchair it looks like teams just figure our how to beat bruins. Im not saying that they are going to lose every game. But just like with ovechkin, people have just "solved" them. I think NYR is the team to solve in the east now, they play simillair to BOS but taking less risks in the offensive. I would really enjoy a back to back SC for bruins though so i hope i am wrong.
