Not usually, no. But Amnesia is a special exception to the rule. It's like asking 'do you get freaked out on roller coasters' when roller coasters range from kiddy rides that drop you no more than 20 feet, to behemoths like Milennium Force that has a sheer 300 foot drop. :P

Sadly the scariest game I've played is Ico. It still scared (and stressed) the HELL out of me. And it's JUST a puzzle game.

LOL, the first video--that's exactly what I'm thinking whenever I play a horror game, so I can never play them by myself :P god, and I know what you mean about the hiding; in the first scene of Siren (I think?), you have to hide from a policeman and go through an old japanese house avoiding his los. a game that takes place supposedly after the events from Shadow of the colossus. theyre magnificently done games. i never beaten them myself but my best friend is into those games and ive seen him play, the music is so good, and the game play style is realistic. its also very mysterious and gives off a haunting vibe, making you feel like you are all alone in the world.

Having moved into my first apartment and playing silent hill the room at night with zero light in the place as i do with all horror games, that shit really freaked me out for a while, i still dont walk into the bathroom without turning onthe light from outside the room (reaching around the corner hella fast to hit switch) Edit my one big o shit moment was first time playing through resident evil 2, the interogation room with the big ass mirror i was like ok somethings gonna come through, so i inch my way to it nothing, i inch to the other side and turn around and run back nothing, im like ok whatever so i grab the plug wires and as i go to leave BLAM! licker comes through, i yelled o shit and tossed the controller which prompltly got me killed before i could retrieve it, hadnt saved for a few hours to ; ;

Yeah, the whole Clock Tower series is creepy as hell, especially old ones. PS2 had some of the best scary games ever but hey, Amnesia has topped everything.

I never get sick of watching the full version of the first video.

The storage and the prison in Amnesia turns me into a screaming whimpy 3 years old. I f***ing hate when you open a door and the monster thing just stares right into your face .

I almost had a heart attack playing Silent Hill 3. It was the most scary game I played until now.

PS: I still wonder why people freak out that much about Amnesia... It didn't scary me at all =S
