I would actually trade my vanish for Hunters Camo. Currently better than stealth because they are phased and unable to be attacked.

Pretty neat that Blizzard pisses on Vanish/Stealth and hands Hunters something like this.

I haven't played much in cata, but can you still see an enemy hunter when in camo? I've only seen teem mates in camo and they were visible but so are rogues soo I dunno

I was more or less ranting, which has little to do with the actual subject. I just wish they would actually, "fix" vanish.

It's funny that a while back Blizzard was working to find a solution to this vanishing problem. Now all of a sudden they claim it's working as intended. Oh ok.

Not only can we see you, we can't even attack you unless it's a while hit (autoattack)

Which means no Sap, no Cheap Shot, no Garrote, no Ambush, no nothing. While you can simply look over at us with Camo, Track Hidden, and Flare, and shoot us out of stealth.

    Yeah boi!
ill probably be infracted for this post

Because rogues can be attacked while in stealth, right? What a bad arguement lol. They can be damaged in camo just likeyou can be damaged in stealth. It's all about tagretting which is same and stealth just owns it so badly.

I loved the fact that I could pull aggro and vanish to take a ~100k hit back during LK, and now if I pull aggro and take a 100k hit to the face I just die, shit sucks.

you get no movement speed loss in the next patch being stealthed. your the master of getting away at under 10% and coming back above 50% imo your vanish is fine and this is coming from a warrior that applied a rend to you while you were at 15% and you magically dissapear on me.

Uh, yeah they can. What game have you been playing?

What is this I don't even...

Vanish is far better then It used to be. You get a three second window where you take 0 damage after you use it. I can assure you vanish is better off now then it ever has been.

As for camo, the majority of rogue comps involve a priest that can mass dispel them out, same with mages pet nova.

I haven't read any complaints about the 3 second invulnerability duration that the Vanish buff gives you. The REAL issue I'm referring to is pets still attacking you and knocking you out of stealth AFTER the 3 second invulnerability duration in which they should NOT have vision on you.

That's been proclaimed broken since Original, Blizzard claimed to be searching for a fix, and then claimed it was working as intended. Why would it take them so long to come to the conclusion that it was working as intended. I forgot that Vanish was a conditional spell in which it works *unless the enemy has a pet*.

I'd be embarrassed if I ever got sapped out personally. The only times I get pulled out are by lucky pet novas

I'm pretty sure you still take damage, it just doesnt break stealth. But i would prefer the utility of old vanish more, it just took some getting used to

Not true, you still take all damage from DoT effects and any strikes that were incoming, or spells already in the air. It just doesn't break our stealth.

do i miss being able to vanish-dodge things like deathcoil? yes.

do i miss vanish failing way more than it does now? no.

This is true, but i believe that old vanish was worth taking the occasional fail, which wouldnt happen if you timed it right (or rarely atleast)

    Vanish is broken.

We have to auto attack you while running through flare to get you out of camo, rogue's can still get sapped while in stealth/opened on etc
Not saying i do this ofc but if srsly make it like stealth and allow sapping or atleast allow melee ranged openers It just feels like a dummy mechanic atm

Its cool they wanna make hunters counter rogue but flare, track hidden, pets preventing from restealth and attcking you in vanish AND camo is a bit silly but w/e its fine i guess >.>

Also this Even after vanish you can still take a hard hit while vanish used to be more of a lifesaver "absorbing" the hit, but yeah the new vanish is way better for reopening/resap etc

Hunters don't rely on stealth openers, rogues do.

Rogues can't attack a Hunter they can see in Camo, but a hunter can attack a rogue he sees in stealth. Or, his pet sees in stealth. Or, who he flares out. Or, who he sees with Track Hidden up.
