Here's my POV on this. If you are solo queing for the sake of gearing, the bosses you face are based on the discretion of the group (mostly the tank).

If he's not queing with a guild or friends, then there's nothing he can do except drop group or get locked to the instance without regards to what bosses will get downed.

Can't help it that he's not a social butterfly and doesn't want to associate with folks.

But then he's a tank so what is he complaining about? lol

And yes i noticed alot of his gear has dodge but check stuff like his pants No reforges at all :O As well as that dps neck >_<

Well, except for Feral Druids, but yeah. It's BY FAR the best stat for Pallys, Warriors, and DKs.

It always seem strange that you aren't required to do all bosses in order for the LFD rewards to consider the instance completed.

On my tank I always ask if anyone needs any bosses, if not I will more often than not skip them.

On my healer I ask if we can do optional bosses if I need them. Fortunately tanks so far have always said yet when I ask as I was prepared to wait for them to pull the last boss, teleport out and laugh

At least it ensures tanks don't leave after they got(or didn't get) that piece of loot from one of the first bosses. I've lost count of how many times tanks have done that while I'm gearing my alt.

Personally, I enjoy killing all bosses on my main(who just so happens to be a tank), so I will be forcing people to do every one of them if they're going to get me my goody bag!


EDIT: I also did this even in the end of Wrath. In fact, Ahn'kahet was my favourite instance because of some of the "optional" bosses.
It would be nice if the LFD rewards required you to kill every single boss, but I doubt Blizzard will ever do that

im sure they still will,but meh.at least it insures that at least there will be 1 call to arms tank who isnt a "gogogogo" dps re roll who's got spellpower gear on and gemmed wrong

I always do a full clear of the instances I tank. I even warn people in HoO with "Doing a full clear, just an FYI" at the beginning of the run. Only once have I had a tank not do a full run when I was on a DPS and I wasn't going to argue-it was a crappy run from the start, and I just wanted to get out of there, lol.

As a Warrior tank that stacks mastery and clears optional bosses when heroic newbies want to... I hope we can balance it out. Good luck to all you dps queuers in 4.1 tho.

because you cant just throw on pvp gear and queue?

i dont consider a tank in full pvp gear that cheated the ilvl requirement a good tank to be honest.plus,you can have good gear and still be a bad tank.previous guilds ive been in have taught me this

So you are not ever getting an experienced 361 geared tank anyway if he popped in your random
