Server Transfer and BOA items

This may be a really dumb question, but I don't want to make a mistake costing RL golds.

If you server xfer a toon will it retain BOA gear? What I want to do is load up a character with all BOAs, including ones that require guild rep to buy and bring it to a new server to dole out to new alts. Has anybody tried this?

You can transfer BoAs cross-realms now.
I'm not sure about the guild BoAs though.

worked in wotlk. Don't know about the guild rep boa gear but I would assume it does.

Actually you still cannot. The change in 4.1 had nothing to do with cross-realm sending.

As for the OP, yes, you can transfer all of your heirlooms on a character and they will all come across fine.

Woot. Thank you for the quick replies. I was pretty crushed when I got home from work and read the blue post about BOAs not being cross realm transferable. I had assumed they would be with the new changes to "bind on Battle.net".

They just mean that you can't mail them cross server. The only way to send boa items from one server to another is with a character transfer.

I think it's really bizarre you were the first person to answer my first post on MMO. In case you were wondering, I was going to xfer my lock with the gear, not a guilded toon.

They should work just fine, whether their guild heirlooms or wotlk ones.
