Meh, I only watch 1 episode a day. I don't want to waste all of them at once. The rest of the day I have ponies galloping through my mind.
Anyway, how would you compare this to the original MLP? It seems to me this not as girly and childish as the original (Never watched that tho)

Have to wait till december for season 2? That's bad. I hope this gets continued even after that. I have some personal wishes what they could change tho. I like the show pretty much as it is now, but if it would be totally 'optimal' for me, it would have one longer (2 part) story arch per season which would be a bit different from the usual happy-go style of the series. I'm not talking about anything really sad or like that. However, I don't think I should talk about it because we only have 1 season and it had a darker 2 part story arch. Some of the plot twists were predictable, but hey, I won't say anything. I enjoyed seeing baddie getting her butt whooped by rainbows. (And the flamboyant dragon. I cracked up hard on that one)

Otherwise I like the random story bits as it is now.

I don't trust Hasbro, but I think they would be really dumb to drastically alter this series. I think the major fanbase (And also the possible paying ones) consist more of the people that talk about it online (IE. Bronies) than the intended target demographic. Besides, the toys will still look like they have always looked and sell as usual. It doesn't have to have anything to do with the series.

On other things tho, nobody can understand I like FiM. I had one guy give it a try, but he didn't find it so good. =( I just wish their attitudes wouldn't be so hostile. What would it take to explain that FiM is not the MLP they think it is?

How come everyone's friends/family etc. seems so hostile towards you liking MLP?
Pretty much all my friends know I like mlp and it seems they couldn't care less, some even tried to watch it lul.

Just as with Season 1, the episodes will start airing while the last ones are still in production, so enjoy the summer knowing new ponies are no more than a couple of months away by the end of it.

What would it take to explain that FiM is not the MLP they think it is?

Do they spend time online? Surely they would've taken notice that something isn't quite as it used to be on the 'Net?

He's a guy who makes unfunny webcomics about himself(what he likes what he doesn't like. Seriously wtf). Somehow, he actually has a big fanbase for some reason.
He's also a big douche because he can't take criticism, but has no problem with bashing other people's works.

On top of that, he was an inflation fetish artist(some stupid soft porn with fat people), but he closed his DA, and changed his name to tom preston. He rages every time when someone posts his inflation art.

Questionable standards of criticism are a valid complaint, though I'm not sure I can get behind personal resentment (much less permanent stigma) over otherwise non-offensive creative works. I doubt we'll be worse for the increasing visibility.

And about Preston/Andy...guess he just likes to express his opinions and his life as an comic artist in comics he draws in his free time. I don't know much about him so can't say on anything else but he also doesn't make comics only about himself.

Because all they know of "My Little Pony" is the 80s and 90s stuff, the super over-the-top girly-girl froo-froo stuff. I told my brother about it when I saw him last weekend and he didn't seem to care much. He thought it was some Adult Swim show :P I was surprised really, with how much he's on the internet, he said he never heard a thing about FIM.
