So, as the Call of Duty franchise is now so whored out, it is basically the Madden of First Person Shooters, I can successfully announce that this year (to no ones surprise), Modern Warfare 3 is being released and created by Infinity Ward. Oh boy... fanboys are happy.

Battlefield was released before the first CoD, so if anything, its the other way around.

I dont understand how you can even compare them, they are completely different games, CoD goes with smaller maps and faster gameplay while battlefied actually create a map where real warfare can be fought, wich is infinitely better in my opinion.

You can also base the hate on past experience, first few 2 CoD's I liked, others I just hated, experience tells me, next one is going to be shit as well, additionally I wonder how it will work out with half the IW crew gone.

But Battlefield 3 is going to be a much more "mature" shooter and if you are sick of CoDs you should really give it a shot. Picture BF3 as taking the best parts of CoD and adding in team-play, more strategy and destructable environments.

CoD is really more like Counter-Strike than an actual Wargame. Battlefield 3 will be as good as it gets with current consoles.

BC2 has nothing at all to do with BF3... the BC series was made for point to point warfare while BF3 goes back to the old BF-BF2 formula of big warzones.
