Pet Help?

This may be a really noob and stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyways.

In the past, I use to always have my pet on defensive since I didn't use to use key bindings, and being a clicker before, it was one less thing I didn't have to worry about. Long story short, I set up my key bindings to Alt+1 for my pet to attack and I put him on passive. Now when I tell him to attack my target, get goes up and hits him once and comes back and I have no clue why (I clearly want him to keep attacking). Does anyone know what the problem is here? I'm using Bartender (out of date), could that be the problem?

EDIT: Forgot to mention - It's a felhunter if that makes any difference.
EDIT2: Found out what was wrong, pretty lame.
