    I went to Thor

And yes, its a damm good movie deserving of its 94% Red tomatto score on Rotton tomatoes.(see link)
    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/thor/

The Girls will like the Hunky Australian lead actor. And I thought some of the Brunettes where cute too.

On the other hand ,I suppose I really liked Thor because it was WARCRAFTY if there where such a word.

Thor kind of reminded me of a Blonde Human Tank Pally armed with a 1 Handed Mace.

And his associates, marching down the main street of the desert town looked like they where off to Blizzcon or a Warcraft party.

    Thor? Starcraft 2 unit?

I saw Thor last night and I was pleasantly surprised. Some comics movies have disappointed me in the past but Thor was of a different caliber. The story is pretty good, the dialogues aren't overly cheesy and I liked the battles. The actors playing Thor and Loki manage to perform well. The humorous notes throughout the movie deserve an honorable mention because they made me chuckle (where other movies often fail).

And let's not forget Stan Lee's usual cameo appearance!

It was certainly worth my money, I even paid extra for 3D!

mm? it is being shown in london cinemas already.

movie itself - while offering absolutely nothing new, still is well made, written, acted etc.etc. I enjoyed it.

only thing "new" that a superhero movie will offer is the story of a different hero, thats it... people dont go to see comic movies cause they are expecting to be offered something new, they go for the fact it was maybe a childhood hero or comic enthusiasts, or people that jus saw the preview and thought it was cool.. cpt america, green lantern etc etc will all have the same effect as any other comic hero movie, the origin of the hero and the battle between good and evil along with love and life drama sandwiched in between... only thing i get upset or dissappointed with is when producer/directors totally fuck up on how they portray certain heroes (i.e. rogue in x men was by far the worse portrait of any hero gone to the big screen) amongst others

Lol, that caused quite a buzz around the internet. Heimdall is white in the comics. There is no doubt about it. It's strange that they would change that. But as someone not affiliated with white supremacists, I could give a shit less. At least they didn't make Thor black, amiright?

They always give a few characters race changes. Nick Fury wasn't black in the comics, but he is in all the recent marvel movies. it does nothing to the story, it just adds a black dude. i don't mind it at all as i am not a racist.

Honestly, these comics were written in a time where nobody put black people in their comics, except as a punt of jokes. Storm from X-Men is the only retro black superhero i can think of.

example of black people in early comics. this issue is from 1947

no thats not a monkey, its The Spirit's side-kick. His name is Ebony White
Prolly the most blatant racism you ever saw in a comic, makes me laugh

It's been out in cinema's since this week in Belgium. And the Heimdall thing is probably to be more polically correct really.

It was an INSANE movie, to be fair, my expectations were decently high because I've always been a fan of the subject and of the character(s), plus the trailer was good, but the movie was way better than what I'd predicted regardless.

Very good storyline, good acting and just overall REALLY well achieved.
