    Very odd network issue

Ok i've had this problem for about a year and i've no idea how to fix it.

I have and old storage computer (just HDD) with mapped network drives that stores all my music on it and what not.
When i have winamp playing something from the old computer (over the netwrok on my decent computer) it will never resume playing a file if it's been paused for any length of time (10 mins or so), i have to double click on the file so it "reloads" the file again.

obv not a fatal error or anything but it's something thats bugged me for a while, does anyone know how i might go about resolving it.

Only a guess, but do you have HDD shut down enabled in the power savings settings on your storage computer?

nah it's set to never, it's kinda funny cos when i first set this up a few years ago it didn't do it, then after a format of the new machine it just happened.

And it's not like it had not been formatted before either, it was like the 5th time before it started with this nonsence.
Everything stayed the same, even the same version of winamp.
