    Titan Panel Replacement?

Hey all, I have been using Titan Panel since I pretty much started wow and LOVE it. However with 4.1 it has began to make me have sudden FPS drops for some bizzare reason, even though it has been updated several times.

One feature I love with Titan Panel is the fact it shows account wide gold levels, is there another addon, similar to Titan Panel that shows account wide gold and all of the other features Titan Panel has?

    Thanks

Any of the current LDB (LibDataBroker) displays will probably be good alternative options.

I use Bazooka for example. And a good plugin specifically for what you're asking is Broker: Cashflow to display total gold \ gold per day\week \ honor \ justice points \ etc account wide.

It's not like it's abandoned or anything, this is a few days old from the titan panel curse page:

We're working on an update to address this. I confirmed it last night and did some debug testing. It appears to trigger on either ENTER_COMBAT or LEAVE_COMBAT events but is not being removed once it is created. So each time you enter combat with a creature, you create another timer. Not a function we desired.
I wouldn't be desperate for a replacement just yet!

    This.

FuBar is still around - and in my opinion as superior to Titan Panel as ever.

Honestly, I'd follow Lawomous suggestion and go with something like Bazooka or ChocolateBar - a bar-styled LDB display addon - and then I'd replace all the TitanPanel addons with LDB/DataBroker plugins.

Why? Look at how many there are.

A quick check on WoWInterface (which has separate categories for TP, Fubar, and LDB plugins) shows this:
    DataBroker - 309 addons
    Fubar - 80 addons
    TitanPanel - 57 addons

Go for choice, variety, and usefulness - my pick is DataBroker. I suggest Bazooka for those who want a bar-style display, and Fortress for those who want the freedom to arrange them all over the screen without a limiting bar.

If you have something from fubar which does not appear to have a databroker alternative, then you could try Fubar2Broker.
Though as the numbers above demonstrate you would be hard pushed to find something that is not.
Data broker offers options as to which display addon you use to handle them instead of the proprietry display of fubar which will limit you to fubar.

    So Titan wins ? 57 + 309 because Titan is a broker display, too ? :P

Titanpanel does support databroker yes, but by using a straight databroker module or plugin instead of a titanpanel one you will keep the choice as to which display you use.
If you use a titanpanel module you will not have that choice.

Also, TitanPanel is not a TRUE DataBroker Display - it uses a "wrapper" mechanism, which adds both CPU and memory overhead on top of what the LDB addon uses normally - and it causes an increase based on the number of LDB addons you're displaying in your TitanPanel.

I just switch to ChocolateBar two days ago because of fubar's death (don't work with last little patch, and Ace2 addons are dead ).

DataBroker addons are amazing, wish I switched earlier.

I'm a chocolatebar user myself with my question I just wanted to say that you should not base your decission on the chosen set of numbers but on more important things (quality vs quantity). Titan has its pros and cons and its strongest pro is its all-in-one status. For a starter Titan is really good first choice and a nobrainer ... only later when you know what you're after titan is no longer a real contestant (for me)

I use SLDataText. Gives you the freedom for all that information and you can place the info wherever you wish without the restrictions of a bar.

Fortress and StatBlockCore do that too, jazza - but lets you use all the LDB addons, instead of just the ones hardcoded into SLDT.

For some reason, I never found this addon useful.

I am currently using an addon called docking station, which I find a little easier to config.
