Yesterday, in stage 3 of the Giro, Wouter Weylandt died from a skull fracture after a fall. Out of respect, stage 4 is neutralized and Leopard-Trek, Weylandts team, may start on the front row.
For the same reason, i.e. out of respect, should they allow Leopard-Trek's team to win this stage? it only seems fitting to me, and it won't have an impact on the rankings. But it allows for a posthumous tribute to this young cyclist, who left this world too soon.
also, anyone who makes distasteful jokes, please don't. I don't come to your funeral ceremony in church so i can crack up about you, neither should you.
