Recently decided to go for this achievement and remembered there used to be an AddOn that would track the mounts you have and list the ones you were missing.
Does anyone know the name of the addon?

I don't know what add-on your talking about but if you use the Wowhead profiler it tracks which mounts you have or don't have

Sounds like Collectinator @ Curse.
Works for both mounts and companion pets.

GupPet does this also - for both mounts and vanity pets. includes a model viewer, and information on how to get each one.
