Whats wrong with scene kids?

So recently be it on the forums or just in real life in general I noticed that there was a lot of hate on scene kids. So I was wondering what is wrong with them?
To clear somethings up, I am not into labels and hate being labeled, with that being said what is wrong with them?
Please try not to troll, all I ask.

Speaking from experience, most of them I've are lying douche bags who act as if they're better than everyone else, and i don't like their physical appearance.

Alot of people have issues with them because.. well.. they are generally the kind of kid that wants to look, talk and act real tough but when it comes down to it, they are generally the wimpiest kid on the block yunno? Im not saying that for all of them, its just my experiance with them.

Plus, any kid that locks themselves in their bedroom thinking mommy and daddy hate them and just dont understand... while not trying to help them understand cause that wouldnt be the cool thing to do *apparently having misunderstanding parents makes you that much cooler* has some deeply rooted issues. Plus their music is terrible and has ruined the face of rock.. forever.

They are hated because

1. All they care about is looks.
2. They act like the don't conform, but the fact that I can't tell any two scene kid apart says otherwise.
3. They seek attention with how they dress. Scene guys wearing makeup isn't an expression of who they are, it's an expression of how much they want to be accepted by their group.
4. They think their music is punk. Trust me, not one scene kid knows what real punk rock is.
5. they invented the stupid self pics where you look away from the camera.
6. They all think Nightmare before christmas is the coolest thing ever.
7. They think that if a movie is "independent" that it is also the coolest thing ever, even if it is just gay cowboys eating ice cream

Scene kids have been destroying and douching up local music scenes since I was younger. They generally have no mind of their own, and jump on whatever bandwagon is going on during a period. Generally, if you can't spot a fake, or don't hate fake people, then you're a fake yourself.

Thankfully, my city lacks scene kids, but we make up for it with wanna be gangsters and poser skaters. Don't know what side is worse to be honest.

You could do that with everyone on earth and your just pointing out things that they like that you maybe don't, but do you have any valid reasons as to why you hate them and not what they like?

While I like Chiodos and happen to think Craig Owns has one of the best voices ever(behind Jonny Craig, Craig Mabbitt, and Anthony Green, and possibly Vic Fuentes), the scene hate stems from the fact that scene kids try and use the label of "scene" as a way of saying their fad or fashion trend is the anti-mainstream and that it's the best choice and anything else is just conformist.

It's this obnoxious attitude that makes people dislike scene kids. Personally, I enjoy screamo and bands like Chiodos, Emarosa, blessthefall(older stuff), Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive, We Came as Romans, Pierce the Veil, etc., but I dislike kids who label themselves as scene. Most scene kids will grow out of the phase and look back and frown upon it.
