Hunter Gearing help

Hey everyone, i have a question about hunter gearing. After getting hit capped i was wondering if it is worth going for haste after the 12% soft cap. i play survivability for pve, and often respec to marks for shits and gigs. if continuing haste after the soft cap is not worth it, please let me know why or why not. and if not haste i should be stacking mastery after? i would like to know the effects on both survival and marksmen

I have a lot of mastery > haste gear sitting in my bags, so a switch wouldn't be so hard.

I was also wondering if dmfc is bis for hunters.

I am sitting with over 3k valor points, so if you recommend me to buy anything that would help, i most likely willwill.
