    What bosses have we "killed"

Honestly onyxia came back (not from 40 to 10/25 but from her lair to nef's lair.)

We know yogg isnt dead...c'thun I cant tell anymore

Kil'jaeden isnt dead I dont believe

Obviously ragnaros wasnt dead but hopefully he'll stay dead this time

So would anybody like to add to this list?

Magister's Terrace was merely a setback.

Was there any story behind Nefarians reappearance in Blackwing Descent? Seems like he kinda came back just out of the blue.

Hakkar is most likely to be in good health, waiting in some future patch/expansion for us.

Onyxia was raised again through necromancy

Old gods can not be killed, as they are part of Azeroth now (Yogg & C'thun)

Kil Jaeden was half way through entering our world, but we beat him back in the portal (still alive)

Ragnaros, as elemental lord, can only die in his own plane. So this time he will stay dead

KelThuzad is bound to an artifact, hence why he popped back up - the other minions of the LK were also reanimated after death (all of Naxx).

Hakkar is still alive in his realm (and assisting us killing the god breaker)

KT got rezzed by a demon priest - finished off for good after that.

Blood princes got rezzed by vampqueenie - finished off for good after that.

Lichking is still alive (now bolvar, and at this moment a goodie)

Illadin is speculated to still be alive (as we never chopped off any limbs or anything, and demons return back to the nether after slain, only to regenerate again - most likely being tortured by KJ now).

Quite a few boss's that "die" on 1-5%, makes you wonder...

    Demons: Prince, Kil'jaeden

    Old Gods: Yogg, C'thun

    Elementals(outside their plane): Ragnaros

Onyxia (we beheaded her), Nefarian (we beheaded him), C'Thun (he was resurrected by Cho'gall, so he was actually dead), Lady Vashj, Kael'Thas (even though, it took us two trys), Archimonde (then again, he was actually killed in Warcaft 3, but as the raid shows the events, I count him here), Illidan, Zul'jin, Malygos, Anub'arak (two times, if he wasn't resurrected without the players knowing), Arthas.

That should be all more prominent bosses we fought till now.
Ragnaros was banished to the realm of fire, so we only defeated but not killed him (but that might now happen if we defeat/kill him in his realm).
Kel'Thuzad is a lich and liches can't die if their Phylactery isn't destroyed (which it wasn't in classic, according to the Naxxramas questline. What happened to it in WotLK is not known).
Kil'Jaeden was banished back through the Sunwell, so he is still active.
If Sartharion, Yogg-Saron and Halion really died is not known yet (afaik). Same goes for the Cataclysm bosses (even though, I THINK an elemental lord dies if he is killd in his realm, which would kill of Al'Akir. And Cho'gall, Sinestra, Onyxia and Nefarian are also probably dead for sure now.).

Well, I guess that's all of the more prominent characters.

I'm excited if we ever see an illidan raid again. Hopefully it'll live up to the bt speculations though. Bt had a sort of dark presence to it to accomadate the whole feel of it. God what i wouldnt do for 2 months in tier 5 to raid that place again for 2-3 months again

Well, honestly, it would kinda stink if 'every' boss we encountered was killed the first time we meet them, especially the ones that are supposed to be really powerful (though the main villains like Arthas, Illidan, and Deathwing should obviously be defeated and stay that way). KJ is supposed to be powerful and extremely cunning for example, it wouldn't have been too cunning of him had he gotten himself killed while he wasn't even at his full power. However, we actually know we didn't kill him, unlike Nefarian and Onyxia who definetely died...but honestly IMO those two kinda make sense being Deathwing's children and all, though it should have been explained how they returned. At least the many whelps stayed dead....

What do you mean "how Nefarian and Onyxia returned?" It's called necromancy.

He only came back because the person who was meant to destroy his phylactery defected to the Scourge. He's good and dead now (I think).

Well technically anything mechanical can be rebuilt so XT, flame Leviathan, or any other machines aren't necessarily dead. I believe Demons and elementals both are sent back to their plane if they are killed in Azeroth so they aren't dead. And I would honestly doubt we have killed anything that can be actually qualified as a god (Hakaar, the old gods). So any boss that doesn't fall into one of those categories is actually dead. Of course with necromancy being so common in wow that isn't necessarily a permanent condition.

While Onyxia is explicitly undead in BWD, Nefarian isn't really. I think the guys got a point, we chopped off his head and hung it over the gates and yet he looks no worse for the wear.

cant beleive no one has mentioned Hogger.

It's like Pokemon. Bosses just "faint" and the devs take them to the Pokecenter and revive them, over and over. And over.

I'd like to see another raid featuring Algalon
