    Abyssal Maw Raid

    I was thinking about the raid instance that will appear in Abyssal Maw. Neptulon will obviously be the good guy.

    Who do you think the bad guy will be? Lady Azhara, or one of her servants?

    Whether its a raid or not remains to be seen. In beta it was a 5 man dungeon but I can't remember much of its contents. Will probably be alot of old god minions though.

    Blizzard already stated that Queen Azshara wouldn't be a boss in Cata, at BlizzCon 2010 or 2009 (not sure which one)
    I'm also sure that they stated that the Abyssal Maw was gonna be a fully underwater 5-man instance at BlizzCon 2010 (although plans can always change, I suppose)

    neptulon got kidnapped by the octopus dude in throne of tides, so he will make another appearance of us having to save him.

    The Abyssal Maw is an upcoming instance in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm originally planned for patch 4.1 alongside the Firelands raid. While the Firelands raid has been pushed back to patch 4.2, there has been no confirmation from Blizzard regarding the status of the Abyssal Maw dungeon.

    Unlike the nearby Throne of the Tides, it will be set entirely underwater.

    A boss will be the third and final demigod of Vashj'ir, who has been fully corrupted by the naga.[1]

    So far I've only heard about a new Abyssal Maw 5-man dungeon. I haven't heard anything about a raid. I wouldn't mind having Azshara show up in some capacity though.... it was said she would play a role in Cataclysm in some regard, but so far she's been absentee minus one early encounter in Darkshore.

    Abyssal Maw will most likely not be a raid, but a raid featuring the next old god will probably appear around that area.
