That doesn't mean that they should put a 600W label on a 500W PSU.

"Oh no, the labels aren't tailored to me!"

...to be more clear: The labels can be misleading, but the biggest problem is the amount of stress of finding the damned DC output table. Corsair's been straight about it, but every once in a while I find I have to find this abstract company who makes PSUs, only to neglect mentioning any form of DC output, or hiding it in a really silly way.

That's not true. It's complete BS, because you won't use maximum load constantly.

    Notice the difference:
    Corsair CX600, "600W"

    A proper 650W PSU:

A proper PSU should be able to take it. And with a properly configured build, you'd run at anywhere in the 70-80% range at full load.

I swear by corsair products, even though I JUST bought an antec gamer series 900watt.. It was cheap, and had very good reviews.

I have a antec basiq 500watt, and an corsair TX650 watt right now.

More than 4GB is more of an investment into the future than of any practical use. But since RAM is cheap, it's not a bad investment.

    .-.
Same price as Corsair, 20W advertised more.
    Actually 90W more.
    Confused?
    I bet you are. x3

^ This makes a ton of sense. I wish all PSU's could push their advertised wattage on their 12v rails :S

I picked up the 750 watt version of that PSU. I'm very pleased with it so far.

You mean you're pleased by it's asthetics, cabling and general set-up.
You won't know if you're pleased by it's performance for atleast 2-3 years more (i.e. your next upgrade) :P

E.g. I'd love to say that my X-750w is awesome (seasonic, 90%+ efficiency, 10/10 flawless reviews, etc) but I've only owned it for a few months :S
