WoW or a new game? Help please!

Hi!

For about 3 months ago i got hacked (keylogger on pc i think) and some other stuff happened, cata come out and rl things. I decided to quit WoW. Now i have been playing black ops for 3 months, finnished all the prestiges and i thought that it wold be fun when I was done. This is not the case, it got boring when i was done and i dont really have any games to play. I am really thinking about going back to WoW, however, it would be awsome if you guys could give some suggestions of other games.

I have tryed rift and that was a big no no and a little herp derp sauce with it, so never gonna start that. star wars thingy is far away, diablo is far away, everything is far away.

Back to world of warcraft, if i start playing abit again i will start from scratch.:P

Have you got any suggestions of server (i am swedish), race (pve/pvp according to server) and even class if you feel like having your say on classes.:P I wont be playing mage, warrior or rogue.:P played them be4.
Was thinking hunter or maybe druid.

Give Rift a try.

Many people are moving to it from WoW, some will no doubt go back at the Firelands patch, realise its just the same old boring, recycled content and then come back to Rift.

I would say more people are now leaving Rift to come back to WoW now than people leaving WoW for Rift. Rift is just more or less wow with more classes ( Which will never be fully balanced) and better Graphics, most people who play games play for the great Game Play, not Graphics which is why Rift gets boring really fast.
I tried it, found it that similar to WoW but a lot more boring.
At OP, Try WoW again, 4.2 looks good. Why not?

What are you talking about?! Rift more boring? How exactly, it has almost as much stuff to do as WoW and its only a few months old. A couple more content patches and it'll be flying.

Rift is not losing players, its actually gaining them (paid subs, not trials), so stop talking rubbish.

Unfortunately, if you are looking for an MMO, there's nothing new coming out any time soon. You might try and give DC Universe Online a shot, it's quite different from other MMOs out there. Other than that, I guess stick with WoW and wait for Guild Wars 2, The Old Republic, or the game I really have biggest expectations for, The Secret World.

Guild Wars 2 is not so far away, neither is TERA online. Try those for the time being, or try some existing korean mmos

I suggest you go try RIFt. Find good active server and lvl 1 chara to 50. It will give you diffrent perspective on things.

I have seen many people from different guilds ( Including the one I am in) on my realm who have left for Rift and come back to WoW within 3-8 weeks saying exactly what I did.
I was feeling a bit burnt out from WoW after the whole 13/13hc Grind and wanted a change, I thought Rift would be a nice change but I found it worse and actually made me want to play WoW again rather than carry on in Rift.
I dare say the subs going up are not from former WoW players, that is what I am getting at, not that Rift is losing overall subs but I see more and more coming back to WoW so the chances are these other subscribers are from other MMO's or brand new to the MMO scene.

ya if you're not sure what classes to play, try the hybrids (druid, paladin) and you can always respec if you wanna try different roles.

and if you like fps games, you can't go wrong with Team Fortress 2. It's still as fun as ever.

hmm I tryed rift and it didnt attract med at a start like WoW did.:P It is so easy just to sit down and play wow for like 30 min or something, just stand in OG/SW and do nothing.:P its hard to do that with fps games.xD have to like plan when ur gonna play and for how long.:P Its a hard choice.xD

I'm affraid you can't get addicted to WoW, I don't even see how that is possible.
Raid 3 times a week, other than that I'm hardly on a lot.
