    P3 heroic Cho'gall

    Hello there,

We have problems with P3 in Cho'gall encounter...
When it comes up, all the cacs focus on the first pop of small tentacles (on the followers every dps is on them as they are grouped)
We do not know what to do with big tentacles, usually we forget them.
At the moment, we had it at 4% and everyone dies...
Is there's any trick you could provide me to help, please?

Thanks and sorry for the terrible english

Your not really far away from a kill if your best try is 4%...
at about 5-6% take him to the middle and tank him there (if he isnt already there to begin with).

If your not already tanking him on his throne ,id suggest doing so since it makes handling tenticles allot easier.
Also make sure you got a good spread and other than that there's nothing really special about p3 other than normal tbh.
Just gotta hang in there, use defensive cd's, and stay alive untill 2-3% (when he dies in the middle).

And you dont need to do anything special with the big tenticles, however the tank not currently tanking Cho'gall can stand close (inside) one of the Big tenticles and sort of tank it. But thats not really a game breaking thing tbh.

We found out very early on that often grouping the adds up in the same place often leads to a stacking up of Larger Tenticles. From what we are aware of these melee hit on a set range. For phase 3 we pull Cho'Gall into the centre of the room and just move him so the melee are not in range of the Larger tenticles. Also gives ranged a bit of room the manouver in.

Yes it means the smaller tenticles are less grouped up but it ensures that you take less damage from the tenticles ensuring a more controllable fight in the final phase.

Don't have everybody run up the stairs until the first two huge tentacles spawn; after that, keep ranged and healers spread out in a semi-circle around the throne while the melee go nuts. If you can time your phase transition so it happens when a shadow elemental is NOT about to be absorbed is also a very good idea as well. Makes healing much easier and less likely to lose people seconds into P3.

Just have your tank pickup the big tents while the dps kill the little ones.

After those are dead, simply move away. Rinse and Repeat untill boss death (Should not be more than 3 spawns of adds)

The key to p2... (there's only 2 phases?), is a clean p1 - aka, no one getting hit by bloods, or crashes, and no depravities, if you can get into p2 with almost no corruption then it's pretty much GG.

Save DK army for 2nd and 3rd small tentacle spawns as well.

Heres a strat that worked great for us:
After the last set of adds are killed, and you are at about 30-35%, a.k.a. after the 3rd set of adds, have the tank who taunts him taunt him to one of the walls. The Tanks back should be to the wall. All dps and healers should be behind chogall. All small tenticles will spawn behind or next to chogall, which makes them easy to kill. Also, none spawn behind the MT. If a big tentacle spawns in the raid, have the MT strafe over. If there is a gap, have him strafe over the gap and onto the next wall section. You should only have to do this a couple of times before he is dead. one thing to watch out for when you taunt him is elementals spawning where he was. Just make sure they die so you dont get a full stack.
