FarmVille, Grepolis etc. = Busywork/Upkeep Game? Please help me find the right term.

Hi guys, I need your help, since the MMO-Champion-Community seems to be very sophisticated concerning video games.

Is there a name for games like FarmVille and Grepolis etc. which encourage you to log in multiple times a day for only a short period of time to check some things and give some orders? The term "browsergame" doesn't quite fit, cause browser games also can be stuff like tetris or jump'n'runs. It's also not "strategy games" since farmville does not really require strategy and the term I'm looking for should describe the duty to log in multiple times a day and not the content of the game.

So is there an official or semi-official term for this? Busywork Games? Upkeep Games? I can't really find one.

I just dislike it when people think a colourful Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is classed as a game, when all you do is click a few buttons to make numbers go up.

Zynga (/ˈzɪŋɡə/) is a social network game developer located in San Francisco, California, United States.[2] The company develops browser-based games that work both stand-alone and as application widgets on social networking websites such as Facebook and MySpace.
