I only just found this out

i was so looking forward to this, but the OFLC here in Australia is very tight ass on certain gaming to be passed into Australia, they did the same thing to the Game Bully cause it had a moment in the game where child pedophilia using a camera and slingshot could be used at random times, The other game to be banned was Lesuire Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude due to its over sexuel nature and full on nudity, but only a few copies remain.

The other one caued a major fuss was Manhunt after it was reported that a minor replicated a move which killed someone.

But honestly i was so looking forward to this! But also i dont get how the States can get away with high content gore and other stuff, while Australia is so nitty picky about it

I like how a game can be rated 18 but still be responsible when a minor plays it, not the parents who enable it, or the ones who buy it for them.

There still has to be a way to get a copy of that game imported into Aus. It shouldn't be too hard to get a friend overseas to mail the game to you?
Sorry but when a whole NATION is deprived of stuff like this, it just means there will be thousands (or tens of thousands) of people who will still try to obtain it to the best of their capability. It's not like importing drugs, in the end the game is just data on a disc - and there are many ways of transporting data.

If you want it badly enough you will be able to obtain it

there is serious reform currently happening right now in regards to Game Classification laws there is a Meeting of the Attourney generals in July and they are going to release the new classifications then, because they did a recent draft version and it's almost identical to movie classifications, so yeah hopefully this gets through finally.

They have been planing that for ages Bay, if and ONLY if they pass it to allow R+18 games in australia the ONLY way you will be able to get said games, will be at a porn shop, where all good adult entertainment is sold or something like that

I was looking at that list of banned games and that sucks.

Saudi Arabia even banned Assasin's Creed for two weeks because they thought it made Arab's look bad. Two weeks later someone actually played it and they're like "DOOD. DOOD. They're not making fun of us!"
