You did not ever make it clear or edit your orig post that the artwork is NOT done by you, but that you posted it as a favor to a friend named Mike.

It isn't about the quality of the work, but anyone who goes to your Youtube page and looks at the comments YOU made on the Thunderfury artwork can see
that this isn't your work. Stop posting on MMO-Champion & the WoW Forums and leaving it purposely ambiguous as to who is actually the artist.

Maybe he's posting the threads using Mike's words and then linking them to him so that the original artist will get the chance to see how the community takes to his depiction's of their universe. Either way it's nothing worth getting completely butt-hurt over.

That would explain the title of this thread .. I was wondering why an artist would refer to his/her own works as "awesome", since a true work is never complete, and artists seem to never use such catch phrases on their work ...

Well if the OP's friend gave permission to post the work, it's not that big a deal. Who knows, maybe it will attract some attention for an opportunity back to the youtube member who will then pass the info to Mike.

For plagiarism though, I'd say if the OP ripped someone elses work without their consent, then used that to gain subscribers, that would definitely be plagiarism.

For an original work only located on one place in the web, it's not that uncommon for multiple people to share a YouTube account .. and besides, maybe Mike didn't think his work was "good enough", but the OP did and wanted others to know about it. < or Mike doesn't know about computers and wouldn't know how to update a YouTube account anyways >

To the artist: well done!

edit: in this case, how do you know the OP wasn't Mike himself..

As for the continuing comments about the artist...I, Jason, am the video editor, video "filmer", poster, and everything else. Mike is the artist. He draws and I do pretty much everything else. We BOTH have full access to all accounts. Sometimes he will post comments and sometimes I will. He is my friend and we are working on sharing his artwork with the rest of the world TOGETHER.

Before we made this Worgen video, Mike asked me if I thought it was necessary to clear things up that we are a team. I said no and it was irrelevant, but I'm starting to change my mind. Perhaps we'll make a video on this.

BTW, it is Mike's voice in the video.
