Seasonic makes a great product, and I'm sure I would be hard pressed to find a bad unit currently made by them, but there are many other widely used OEMs out there.

This is a good site for working out power consumption

    I have to disagree.
    Those sites are unreliable.

For instance for my system, its telling me to get a 550/600W PSU and my configuration only withdraws 300W at best from the wall.

I'd say it's pretty damn close. I plugged in my system and it's only maybe ~100W less than what it recommends.

    I run GTX470 at 500W system. Geforce recommends 550W.

You want to run GTX460 on 550W system. Geforce recommends 450W.

Source: Personal experience with GTX470 + OCZ ModXstream 500W PSU.

Drag the Power meter to 450 and browse. The GTX460 should pop at 450W and dissapear at 400W.
