    Seating a CPU cooler

So I recently got my system all together and everything. Only problem is that the Hyper 212+ that I'm using as an aftermarket cooler can shift if I put enough pressure on it. It'll only move a certain amount and stop, but it still does it. Is that normal or did I seat the cooler wrong?

It's completely solid unless I actually apply pressure to move it.

Double check, I've had them move *very* slight amounts with pressure, but after re-seating them they often don't do it. Did you put the correct amount of paste on also? What type of paste? Some are rock solid and it would take a winch tied to a truck to move the stuff.

The paste is what comes with the actual cooler. The paste wasn't really an issue, it's the extra locking spring in the middle of the cooler.
