Tbh I'd recommend waiting till the S4 changes before picking up new champions. I strongly think that the Meta is going to shift greatly during the preseason. So choosing a strong champion now could be someone that falls out of favor in s4. E.g. Jungle Skarner, Cho S2->S3. Yeah they are still strong but for jungling there are just better options now

I wouldn't recommend waiting because the sooner you practise the better. It's not like the champion he's going to pick he's going to get a rework that completely changes how the champion does his/her stuff, I guess.

Even if it does, it's always good and you can't be afraid to pick something because of a what if.

Also, I didn't specify if he should get OP champions or not. He should just pick he wants to play and is comfortable with, and then practice those champions more.

Sent some mystery gifts today. One friend got Noxus Poppy. Literally worst possible thing to get ever.

Don't play Janna at all (hence me forgetting I got her). Just picked up the cheap supports for when I have to support in Ranked. Actually got a soft spot for the Hextech skins (would love to see more of them, there's this one german artist that did an amazing series). Might pick up Hextech if it goes on sale, but since I don't ever play her, there's no rush.

Any reason why you don't like the Justicar skin, or just generic meh? The only downside I have with it is the orbs can be difficult to see on light maps (Dominion).

Quite the opposite. I think it's a great skin (and love skin teams, like Justicar Aatrox and white Varus), but I simply don't ever play her. Might pick it up at some point, but again, no rush.

My other half adores Volibear and can't stand any of the skins (even though she liked His Dark Materials she won't buy any of the armored skins)

Also, I swear if I see another Headhunter Nidalee, I will hunt them down. That is one of two skins I absolutely loathe because they give a slight advantage (the other being Frostfire Annie). Headhunter Nidalee's spears are MUCH harder to see, while Frostfire Annie's stun aura is harder to see as well.

I get so pissed whenever my teammates surrender. We did have two feeders, but me and our support managed to nearly 2v4 them. Had I had mana, it would've been an easy 2v4, even.
Game was far from lost... Damn quitters... -.-'

If you're in a Ranked game, you either play till the Nexus is destroyed or you don't play at all.
