    Palin Fans = /Facepalm

    Original Link: http://www.examiner.com/liberal-in-c...palin-s-fumble

Palin fans are editing Paul Revere's Wikipedia page, matching it with Palin's fumble.

Thoughts, or do all of you just wish this dangerously stupid group of people would just go away?
We are WARRIORS man! If we can't make it bleed, we will sure as hell dent the f%^ck out of it!

I think the biggest fail is that American Politics is turning into some stupid version of the X-factor while the parties bash each other in People Magazine.

Edit: or in this case, bash each other on wikipedia.

I hardly think that Palin fans know how to edit wiki pages... I think those are just people trying to be funny =P

Wow. So they think lying is ok if its for their cause. We should wager on if they're Christians too.

(Point of note, this is not bashing christians, this is bashing hypocrites. There are many many many christians who would not do this because they believe lying is wrong)

I hope that she does run.

    Why?

Because she'll waste millions of Republican money and still have no chance of winning.

Obama 2012, which is all it really comes down to.

Also, I am a Bostonian, and I went out to boo her. Was really fun.

Hey, the thing I love about wikipedia is when all the idiots are done having their fun the intellectuals go back and change stuff so it's correct again.

I think the only person that would make a better President of the United States than Palin would be George W. Bush being able to come back for a third term.

PREFACE: I am Indifferent to Palin

Why is the "left" so easily manipulated and cajoled?

Wars are raging in Iraq, and Afghanistan. A new front is opening in Libya. Drone attacks in Pakistan. The economy is headed for a free fall and unemployment numbers are rising. Our borders are as porous as swiss cheese. There is absolutely no transparency in the government, and now Obama is making deals with Monsanto to deregulate GMO crops ( more big business special interests)... He has extended the Patriot Act...

...... and all of you are buying into the media spin on Palin. You have bigger fish to fry. More things to concern youself with. While Rome is burning you occupy your brain space with inconsequentials. Where is the anti-war left? You were all manipulated by the leftist talking heads against Bush, now you are all following Bush II (sic, obama) with hero-worship.

So, as the nation has to decide in the coming year who to vote for -- the Pro-War, Pro-Federal Reserve, Pro-Corporatism, Pro-open borders, Pro-Patriot Act, Anti-Libery candidate that is Obama or the equally distateful offerings from the Right..... who will just spew forth the same ol' rhetoric of "i can fix the economy", "I can wage better war" etc.... nothing will change.

Stop listening to the noise.... and start getting informed.

I live in Alabama. I used to work for a lawfirm that represented mortgage companies in bankruptcy cases. When I would need to find out what county a city was in, I would wiki the city. I once noticed that one of the pages I visited mentioned the city in question being "so great for legalizing marijuana", having the largest number of cars running without catalytic converters, and naming students who were world-famous astronauts. Was the editor(s) some type of pot-smoking anti-green person with an agenda against NASA? Clearly not. When people make obviously false changes to wiki pages, it's because they're fucking trolls.

Trying to score political points off wiki vandalism is rather useless, moreso than normal for scoring political points.

I would love this, BUT I really don't think shes going to run for the republicans. She is probably going to be a candidate for the tea party. The republicans lost the last election because of her. If McCain had actually chosen a serious running mate he would have had more of a shot because he is the closest thing the republicans have to Bill Clinton, and that's a moderate.

No one is going to run "for the tea party". Right wingers will run as Republicans, but some will just be more tea-party friendly. Just ask a Canadian left winger how well having 2 parties on your side of the fence works out

Nobody is really eager to repeat the problems that arose from Ross Perot's running.

While she probably is wrong, I still don't think that wikipedia is justified. If the fans were saying "This is how it happened and your current telling is wrong" then yeah, smite them all. But they changed it to say "This alternative version could possibly have happened."

In other words, the Wikipedia staff is ONLY doing this because they don't like Sarah Palin.
Neither do I, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be an ass about it, and neither should they or any of you.

Bloody Sarah bloody Palin. No civilised country would put someone like her up as a genuine candidate.
In fact as far as I'm aware the UK is the only european nation that outright bans guns for civilians.
Shotguns I'll give you (provided you're allowed 12 and larger gauges... because I mean... come on...) but not .22s.
This is why people ban guns. Gun supporters don't know what guns are.

So if I edit her page saying that she possibly got her appeal by selling her soul to the devil. Someone editing that out would be hindering the reality of what did happen as opposed to possibly happened? Should an Encyclopedia contain possibilities or realities?

I wish I was still in MA so I could have joined you. xD

But seriously, forget Obama's grades, Mr. Trump (old "topic" but related to my terrible attempt at being funny), I want to see hers.
